7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been going here for a couple years. He has autism and ADHD. The first year we were there, everything and everyone was great. This year has been nothing but a joke... My son's teacher doesn't communicate with me at all unless my son gets in trouble. I never get told about any school events or pictures or anything. There was supposed to be a teacher newsletter to go home and I haven't even received one or seen one. I am so glad that my son is leaving Taylor's elementary!!!!!Parent Review2y ago7 Reviews - Greer High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReading the reviews that say the school does not include kids who don’t play sports. That is so not the truth, this school has done so much for my children. None of my kids were in sports but they have plenty of clubs and groups that they joined and met so many friends. High school is what you make of it. Your child has to be willing to go and meet people. This is a great school with a fantastic diverse community that is truly a home. Greer is a community out that treats you like family.Parent Review1mo ago37 Reviews - Greer Middle School

"None. We are a small cul de sac. We have never had any events. People will decorate their homes. They plant flowers. Lawns are maintained."

"We love living on the Golf Course. While it is fun to watch the golfers, it is a popular evening place to walk and see neighbors. The pool and swim team are great opportunities in the summer. We also like it when Food Trucks visit!"

"I grew up in Taylors, and I moved back here 2 years ago. It’s safe, it’s quiet, and it’s close to Greenville, Spartanburg, and Asheville. Lots of old trees, and the schools are some of the best Publix schools in the state. However, in the last 15 years or so, traffic has increased but the infrastructure hasn’t grown with it, and which can make getting around frustrating. (In addition, home prices have begun to exceed their actual value in our little town. I’ll be moving away from my hometown, sadly, because I can’t afford to buy what I would like to have here. If you can afford it, it’s a lovely place to live.)"

"it's friendly in the area, everyone is pretty relaxed. walking dogs is fine with or without a leash and all the dogs are nice. they will run up but everyone's dogs simply want pet. even the big ones. "

"Good place to walk, though there are steep hills and no sidewalks. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of mature trees, older homes (late 1960s and 1970s), close to Greenville and Spartanburg."

"I can be in downtown Greer in five minutes, enjoying one of the many local, low-key events, like the Food Truck Rollout, that are fun, family friendly and almost free. Or, I can drive 15 minutes and be in Downtown Greenville for bigger events, endless options for culinary and cultural diversions. Taylors is just perfectly located between the peachshed, Glassy Mountain, great shopping and something wonderful to eat. "
