However, if you move here from larger and higher rated school districts, you will be highly disappointed. Some of the teachers seem uneducated and rude. Focus is highly on non educational issues. I hated this school so much that I dropped out and went to the GAP program instead and graduated about 6 months before I was supposed to. The staff was, for the most part, just as immature as the students, not to mention that the "guidance" counselor was so very poor... She didn't know what Anatomy and Physiology was at all, nor does the school offer advanced anything for seniors for college preparation. I was ahead of everyone else by 2 years in my coursework since I moved from out of state; I just needed 1 English credit to graduate. I am in my fifth year in college and I will say that absolutely nothing I "learned" at Welsh High School has been applied to my higher education.
