4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI came from a very oppressive school environment and really feel like the vail has been lifted. PB Elementary is a breath of fresh air. The staff here really brought me on as part of the team right away. I have already formed strong connections with my students, and the principal is a high contact principal who always has time for me when I have questions or need advice. The parents of my 5th/6th Grade students are absolutely fantastic! I went from a school where I had 35 students in a class and very little support from administration, to PB Elementary where I have 23 students in my class and more support than I know what to do with. The staff REALLY cares about the students. It is truly a blessing to be here!Teacher Review12y ago4 Reviews - North Beach Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOMG! My student is in third year here. It is fake school. It is basically day care. Student did at home independent study English class. Was given 3 thick packets and and 2 books to read. Never read either book and did first 3 pages of one packet and received an A for semester. After 3 years there was NEVER a text book, and get this- NEVER given a single test. How do they know they have mastery of anything? It appears that attendance is voluntary. ZERO accountability- for students or teachers. You could send a piece of driftwood here for four years and it'd graduate with a 3.5 GPA and probably become student body president. Just bizarre!Parent Review4y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near Chabot Rd.

"Dog owners love it here, they can walk freely. Most pet-owners pick up after their loved ones, and there’s plenty of public parks!"

"This is not a place for the unhealthy. Substandard health care facilities. Not even a good place to visit. Stuck in 1960’s. It’s not a beach town, it’s a country town by the beach. "

"My Commute is 35 min to Aberdeen. Beautiful drive through the forest and along the bay. Only thing lacking in town is medical services. "

"Local schools don't have the best ratings. Do your research. However, there are a lot of activities for children, and the Community Club provides a safe place for kids and has a game room, indoor and outdoor pools, and friendly people. "

"This place is a ghost town in the winter and we lose power at least once a year. The summer is very busy."

"Lots of people walking their dogs. Would be a great place to have a dog who likes playing and running on the beach. "

"Everything is a distance away from us, there are only a couple of buses each day for the whole town. So, cars for everything."

"been here for almost a year, most people seem to know each other, very friendly, and the deer are pretty domesticated so you can feed them, and it is absolutely gorgeous."

"I am a new resident of Ocean Shores, WA and love it here! I can't believe I can afford to live in a community with access to ocean beaches, Grays Harbor, four lakes and a long network of canals, I suspect almost everyone is within walking distance of a body of water. The people here are friendly, as are the people who staff the City offices and stores. There are many eating establishment; also, there are many celebrations during Spring, Summer and Fall. Ocean Shores is approximately 20 miles from Aberdeen, WA, where there are Federal and State offices,m Grays Harbor Community Hospital as well as the usual shopping sites."

"I used to live in Ocean Shores and know this area. This house is in a really good neighborhood. I rode my bike to the beach from here and it was so beautiful. The beach is within walking distance and it is a quiet, more secluded, part of the beach"
