5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended here for the last few years and he has loved it. The teachers are amazing and so are the staff and principal. They go above and beyond for every student. I don't feel they get 100% cooperation from parents at home and that in itself is sad but they do what they need to do to see that these children succeed.Parent Review9y ago3 Reviews - Oakland High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has ADHD and a learning disability. I have been to several meetings where the Teacher was so mad that she had to deal with him. She was so rude as they all are that I have delt with here. My son was written up for be defiant (he has never been that in public or at home) and for not paying attention in class he was given two days ISS for this issue. A documented medical issue that they have all the information from his doctor that he takes medications every day was given ISS. They do not work with the needy children or maybe it's just my child they don't want to work with. If I had a choice, I would not choose this school, I have not liked them from day one. Another incident that happened he was over on his lunch account which I did not know, and they let him get his tray and walk off and went to him and took his tray and told him he did not have money in his account and gave him a cold sandwich........ This here irritates me more than anything because I am a single working mother who works 40 plus house and has no help and the school that my taxes pay to feed everybody else's children cannot pay for my son to eat...... So, what did the school do with the food that was already on his plate threw it away or did they give it to another child. If it was given to another child that is unsanitary if they threw it away, you would rather throw food away than feed a child what kind of school is this.....Parent Review1mo ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near Cathy Ct #44.

"Nothing really. My neighborhood doesn’t have events. But it is filled with good people who look out for each other. My neighbors look after my house and mail while I’m on vacation and vice versa. "

"No sidewalks but many dog owners live in the neighborhood. Some of the main roads have cars driving a little fast but if you stay on the side streets, cars are more courteous. They will slow down and move over while you’re walking your dog. "

"The schools are beautiful and safe, close by and close together which is convenient if you have children in different grade levels. People are very friendly and easy going. I think crime is extremely low and emergency response is rapid. I think it's a great area for young families. "
