5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children now attend the junior high and have had a great first year. The current leadership communicates with parents via phone or email quickly about anything that arises on campus. The school is a lot safer and more academically challenging than other schools in the nearby area and my children have had no issues with bullying. If you work on base (even with no military affiliation) you are eligible to send your children to Desert (all you have to do is show proof of working on base) which is very convenient for being able to still attend school functions when the base is so far away from surrounding cities. Between the Honors and AP courses and the fact that students are able to attend college courses through the school's partnership with Cerro Coso Commnity College and get both high school and college credit, there is no reason a student should go unchallenged. There aren't as many after school clubs or activities as we've had at previous schools because the school is small, but if there is something available that your kids are interested in trying, they are almost guaranteed to get a spot on the team, activity, or club which might not be possible at a larger school.Parent Review6y ago7 Reviews - Irving L. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere's a great deal of bullying that occurs, and the staff, teachers, and principal do not seem to be able to manage it. There have been reports of bullying, fighting, and racially charged situations all throughout the year. Reports were made to the school district. Kids come home crying and in fear of going to school. The principal says she will look into it, but nothing happens. The same students involved in these incidents don't receive any consequences and the other kids remain unsafe. Weapons, death threats, etc.Parent Review1y ago28 Reviews - West Boron Elementary School

My boys truly enjoy learning here and have had great experiences with their teachers.Parent Review1mo ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Apache Ave.

"It has very dedicated teachers in their school districts. Lots of programs and resources are offered to families in the area as well. Lots of new development which is promising in terms of convenience when shopping for your family as well. Nice parks and libraries. It’s a nice are to raise children but there are some areas that are more ideal than others."

"It seems like a good place to walk your animals safely.I walk my dog everyday with no problem. I Love this neighborhood the rent and utilities are just very expensive.I wish they could get rent control and stop charging for utilities separate from your rent.It can become very expensive. It should just be included in rent not rent plus water trash and sewage. They go up on rent every 6 months. this makes no sense. I really need help sometimes.Plus they should give you until the 10th of the month. They only give you 4 days and some of us get paid on the 10 the of the month "

"This isn’t really a dog kind of town. I hardly ever see anyone walking their dog here. I also have never seen any dog park here. Maybe theirs one in north Rialto but everything here is just warehouses and housing for warehouse workers. "

"They wouldn’t like the fact that there are a lot of stray dogs and cats in the area. So if you are walking your pet you may run into a few which could be scary and dangerous for them and their pets."

"I have a dog; Licenced, spayed , trained , playful , with all ages , flies on airplanes, rides buses trAins . People in Rialto are bad dog owners . Don’t pick up after dog, don’t walk their dogs, don’t bathe their dogs . Have big beautiful dogs like huskies in tiny yards. "
