"Pancake Day is really special here in Centerville, it has gone on for over 75 years. They serve free pancakes in the morning and have all sorts of festivities and activities, plus a parade."
  • Trulia User
"At night many people target shooting all night long in the woods. Loads of drugs in Centerville. It’s changed for the worse. Many homes need of repair but no one to do it. There is nothing here but a dinky Walmart.Nothing for teens to do but hang on the square."
  • Cabinlady450
"This city has nothing to do for teenagers. The buildings and many homes are run down. All I hear at night are very loud vehicles without mufflers, booming bass, and gun shots from people in the woods target shooting. It’s not a quiet place to live. The only place to shop is Walmart, and it’s a poorly run Walmart. I can’t wait to get out of here."
  • Stephanie L. A.
"we all know each other. Most of us are friendly and help each other out. Our neighborhood is kept clean and well maintained. "
  • Stephanie L. A.
"we have community band concerts, doggy dip day at the municipal pool at the end of the season, bike night, nice tennis courts "
  • Stephanie L. A.
"helpful, friendly neighbors who take care of their home and property. Respectful, mature adults and good kids!"
  • Kelsey M.
"Everyone is on a first name basis and very friendly. We are within walking distance to go uptown, and the park."
