7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attended Plesant Valley Primary and Plesant Valley Middle School from K-8. The staff and administrators care a lot about students. The campus isn't the latest and greatest, but the teachers are fantastic. There is an active PTA (it is for both schools) where you can get plugged into your child's learning environment, and it's a wonderful community. The shared campus made the transition from 4th to 5th grade unique. The students grow up together. Pleasant Valley Middle School is one of Vancouver's last schools with an Outdoor School Program for 6th grade. There are now middle school sports and The PE teachers are very invested in the youth! There is a great Band program and a chance to do marching band. My son attended from the Fall of 2018 to the spring of 2022. When we started before COVID, there were a lot of clubs and activities after school. They were not all fulling back before we graduated but I am sure they will return in time. He did experience a little bullying from a student (a lot of kids these days do it is EVERYWHERE), but the teachers and administration addressed it.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Pleasant Valley Primary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI transferred here from another school to find a better fit for me and I love it. My old school had very defined levels of social status and coming here makes me feel more normal. The teachers are nicer and actually help you when you have questions and the students aren't judgmental like my old school.Student Review5y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 4th.

"There are a lot of dog owners in the neighborhood and most everyone picks up after themselves. Very few aggressive dogs; most are super friendly. Other dog owners are very friendly and chatty when you run into each other on the street."
