For other students who are great at learning homework would be nice so when they get into high school, middle school they are prepared for the real world.Parent Review3y ago6 Reviews - Cedar Heights Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCedar Heights Middle School has been a positive experience for our family overall. The school offers a strong academic foundation and has many dedicated teachers who genuinely care about their students’ success. My child has grown both academically and socially during their time here, and we’ve seen encouraging progress. The campus feels safe and well-maintained, and there are a variety of extracurricular activities that help students explore their interests. Communication from most teachers has been consistent, and we appreciate the staff’s efforts to keep parents in the loop. That said, like any school, there’s room for improvement. At times, communication from administration can be a bit delayed, especially when it comes to changes in schedules or addressing behavioral issues school-wide. Additionally, some class sizes feel a little too large, which can make it harder for certain students to get individualized attention.Despite these small concerns, we’re overall very happy with Cedar Heights. The supportive teachers and diverse opportunities for students make it a solid middle school choice. With a few tweaks, it could easily be a five-star school.Parent Review4mo ago13 Reviews - Kentlake High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKentlake High School has been an absolutely fantastic experience for our family. From the very beginning, we’ve been impressed by the professionalism, warmth, and dedication of the staff and teachers. The school offers a wide variety of academic programs, electives, and extracurricular activities that truly help students discover and develop their strengths. What stands out most is the supportive and inclusive environment. The teachers go above and beyond to ensure students are not only learning but thriving. They care about their students’ success and well-being, and it shows in their communication and classroom engagement. My child feels seen, challenged, and encouraged every step of the way.The school also provides great opportunities for students to prepare for life after high school—whether it’s through college readiness programs, AP courses, CTE pathways, or leadership development. The counselors and staff are incredibly helpful and responsive, which has made navigating high school much smoother for both students and parents.Kentlake also has a strong sense of school spirit and community. Events, sports, and clubs are well-organized and help students feel connected and involved. It truly feels like a place where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.I’m so grateful for everything Kentlake High School has provided our family. It’s a school that cares deeply and works hard to support student success. Highly recommend!Parent Review4mo ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near 210th Ave SE #16.

"Not too bad. I only work a couple miles away from home. I leave before the traffic gets bad. The traffic cameras are making me broke. "

"My work is 11 miles from where I live, if you leave after 6:30 am it’s a 25 min commute. Same with coming home. After 3, 20 to 30 min commute on side streets. If you get behind a school bus might as well park your car and start walking, it will be quicker."

"There are small pockets that are ok but most of it has high crime and is in bad condition. The schools aren’t great, the stores have problems and aren’t safe. I don’t walk alone, I don’t let my children outside unsupervised, even in our fenced yard. "

"Really no place for dogs . And if you want your cat to live DO Not Let IT out.yes they did aloe pit bulls. But watch out they will charge you a lot for your dog and cat and if they think you don’t pick up your dog or cat poo it’s 100$ or more per poo. And say goodbye to your deposit. Because you have any animals you places is ruined."

"There aren't many places for the dogs to get exercise unless you own or rent a house, unlike Seattle . Kent. has very busy roads and fast drivers I know of multiple people who had their dogs ran over while crossing the street with heir dogs leashed."

"A lot of people want to touch your dog and a lot of people have cats so if you’re pet is not friendly then don’t let them touch it and keep your dog away from people’s cats because that will be a horrible confrontation."
