3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went from loving school to wanting to end his life. Teacher would say he was great to my face then treat him horribly to his face. 9 incidences of bullying and no action taken in 3 months. Finally moved schools when teacher refused to let my son go to the nurse with a ruptured tooth. Absolutely awful. Heard nothing but bad reports from other parents as well. Assistant principal was nice. My sons new school; he is now flourishing.Parent Review1y ago17 Reviews - Mountain View Middle School

"Not a great place for kids to grow up in my opinion. The neighborhood is bad and so are the schools"

"It’s not a good area of town. Lots of foot traffic since grocer is at the end and food on the other. Would not recommend for families period. The schools aren’t good either "

"It’s a good quiet area. A lot of stores in a 15 min drive. It seems like a nice quiet area for the most part besides the usual and common occasions. "

"Bremerton has its own brand of charm. For a Navy town there’s a lot of Naval influence here. It’s a small city with great location. Although some parts are seedy, Bremerton has history, some beautiful scenery and forested areas all which make it distinct from similar places."

"I use Kitsap Access for my main source of transportation. which is door to door service for seniors and disabled commutes if qualified. Snow plows come and clear the roads after the main roads are cleared and maintained. Easy access to multiple grocery and shopping stores. "

"I drive the opposite way of traffic to work every morning. If you work in Bremerton, parking is kind of terrible. So most people either use public transportation, walk/bike, or some combination to avoid having to deal with parking and the traffic."

"My neighborhood hosts a wonderful seasonal farmers market in the evergreen park at 4pm on thursdays. Additionally the park occasionally becomes home to some community festivals. There are some amazing artists that call this neighborhood home. Some show their talent by growing beautiful gardens and others hand paint flowing murals on their buildings. "
