"Close proximity to gorgeous forests of Shawnee. Love the farmers market, and small shops downtown. Close to Nashville and St.Louis. Loved growing up here, but moved for job opportunities. Huge bang for your buck house wise if you work virtually. "

"My commute to work is very easy. It is only five minutes. It is very easy to live in Carbondale. I have lived overseas and in other states. This is a combination of metropolitan benefits and Mayberry neighborhoods."

"There are a lot of homeless and drug dealers in this part of carbondale. Don’t move here if you have children or want anything nice... it’s a college town and a lot of bums."
