"Piedmont is great because it is in walking distance to multiple neighborhoods with bars and restaurants yet far enough away that we don’t have a lot of foot and car traffic. It’s a quiet neighborhood with a great park."

"Lots of other dogs to socialize with. People often don’t fallow leash guidelines in the local parks. Many times we’ve been greeted by unfriendly pups. "

"We all look out for each other as the kids play outside. There are alleys to play in. Peninsula Park is a real gem with a pool, playground, ball fields, summer concerts and Portland’s original rose garden."

"There are three City Parks within walking distance: Peninsula, Woodlawn, and Farragut. And there's another a quiet hidden park on Mallory and Killingsworth."

"4 of my neighbors and I are so close we’re all emergency contacts for each other, our kid all play, we get together for wine or dinner often. Everyone around looks out for each other. "

"Live in neighborhood... Great area... close to parks, grocery, transit, bike paths....easy 10 min bike ride into the heart of pdx...."

"Just on the other side of the bustle. Wide streets, gorgeous parks (especially Peninsula with the roses), 2 mins drive to Mississippi Ave, 2 mins to Alberta Arts, 10 mins drive to the Pearl and NW 23rd. Easy access to airport... basically as centrally located as you can get. The only part of inner Portland that you need to fight traffic for is SE. If you can manage with all that N, NE, NW, and SW has to offer... you will absolutely love living here. Let's face it... most of the hot restaurants with locations in SE are opening new locations in NW 23rd / Pearl anyway. So bikeable and also close to the MAX. It's steps from the Urban scene, but with backyards and basements galore."
