"it is a good area to walk a dog but it is not safe because of a lot of mentally ill people living on the curbs or at Reeds Park. it is a shame that this area used to be very nice, but now it is deteriorating very fast. over all it is not safe to walk after sunset."

"It is close to both the MTA and Big Blue Bus stops. The train is in biking distance and the neighborhood is very walkable. The freeway is close by for an easy commute."

"Hit and miss....I also have a dog and pick up from him what’s left on the greens. Perhaps I should be better and pick up other droppings but I don’tmostly but sometimes...as a community let’s Not roll over in ignorance to the neighbors that have no dogs....poop on the street is like “ second hand smoke “ for other’s!"

"I walk to and from work. This is one reason why I live here. The walk is great and it’s beautiful all the time. There are now many issues with transients in the neighborhood which is unnerving for my girlfriend walk-in at night. "

"The proximities to the Pacific Ocean, Palisades Park, International Tourists makes me feel I am closer globally, Montana shops, the best part is I can walk for whatever I need and my car doesn’t leave the garage."

"The parks get a high percentage of homeless after dusk. tell kids to keep their scooters off the sidewalks as it effects the pedestrians. The train seems to be increasing crime around here "

"Fresh Air from the Pacific Ocean, wide streets, trees, flowers and friendly neighbors. Closeness to all shops, restaurants and public transportation makes it easy to get around to shop. Cleanliness of neighborhood. There is city noise like occasional garbage trucks and ambulances during the day, but not in the evening or night. Safe. Sightings of occasional harmless homeless person might be disturbing to some."
