What Locals Say about Rosamond

Review Highlights

Rosamond: easygoing desert town near Edwards, friendly blocks, quiet nights, quick local drives. People like the calm streets, friendly neighbors, parks, and short in-town errands. They dislike scarce shops, no transit, base traffic, long drives to Lancaster, and loose dogs.

The neighborhood however is a great and safe place to live and has a very involved and nice police force. Alot of military, law enforcement and clearanced residents through lockheed martin, boing, and more."

"Dogs get out a lot and roam the streets. So always got to be careful when walking your dogs. A lot of people do own dogs so you hear a lot of barking all around you. "

"Long. At least 20 minutes. The drivers are usually coming from the base, and base traffic is insane. If you like to speed or be tailgated and you don’t mind driving at least 20 minutes to get to the nearest big city, then this is the place for you. "
