"All the amazing food and bars. There’s everything within walking distance. Downtown is a 10 min walk, the park is 10 min walk, the grocery store is a 10 min walk. "
  • Trulia User
"There’s a dog park nearby and lots of other dogs in the area. It’s not a good place to walk your dog at night. "
  • Trulia User
"The buses come every couple minutes so you can basically get where you’re going on time. The traffic isn’t too bad usually "
  • Trulia User
"Belltown is true downtown living We live at 4th and wall. It’s loud and busy and very alive. Tons of great food and cute spots/ no need for a car and great views from our building "
  • Trulia User
"It's a pretty built up part of the city, so not too many community events. However, there are events at the Space Needle and Olympic Sculpture Park."
  • Trulia User
"Great if you work downtown and don’t have a car. Food can be delivered at all hours. I’ve been here 3 years and the area has become significantly more sketchy and unsafe since then. "
  • Trulia User
"I have been living in this area for the past half year. there is a fire department in this neighborhood, so expect a lot of sirens. also, the bar area is dangerous and shootings often happen during weekends."
  • Trulia User
"Belltown is more of a young adults or tech playground. Although kids I think are safe here there isn’t really anything for them to do in Belltown "
  • Trulia User
"This is not really a child friendly area. It’s more a young adults post college amazon, micosoft neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"there is a ton of car traffic at all hours and construction so you have to be aware at all times when crossing streets"
  • Trulia User
"There is a saturday market in SLU that is very close. There are also activities on Bell St on weekends. "
  • Trulia User
"There are few spots with homeless and rehab people walking around. Sometimes I heard loud quarrels at night on the street. Really noisy on 3rd ave."
  • Trulia User
"It’s a great location with foot access to much that Seattle has to offer, but considering the bars, restaurants and associated nightlife, it seems to be more of an adult neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"There is everything in walking distance and many different restaurants and people in the neighborhood."
  • Trulia User
"I have lived in this community for three years and I love it but it is very expensive once you pay for your apartment, parking, and storage so we are trying to find a more affordable space or at least one that does not require parking and storage fees."
  • Trulia User
"Denny Triangle. The hidden gem of the downtown Seattle area! Denny Triangle is centrally located to the three popular neighborhoods - Capitol Hill, South Lake Union, and Downtown. All three neighborhoods are within a 15-minute walk. This makes Denny Triangle the perfect neighborhood to live in and work in the neighboring hot spots. It's close enough to walk, but far enough out to create that separation. With South Lake Union (SLU) bursting in growth, the restaurant and shopping selection options have increases impressively. A number of very popular restaurants (Ba-Bar, Cactus, Mo Bar, Portageg Bay and many more!) have expanded to the area, which is no more than a 10 minute walk from Denny Triangle. Additionally, the expansion of Amazon has added a number of great restaurants in their buildings that are definitely worth exploring. The neighborhood itself is busy during the day with techies heading to work. But once the sun goes down, the neighborhood is extremely quiet. This is a perfect balance for any resident! If you are looking for a neighborhood that is easily walkable, clean, quiet, and safe, Denny Triangle is the spot for you! "
  • Trulia User
"I've been renting in this neighborhood for three years. While there has been consistent construction in the surrounding city blocks since I've moved in, I can not speak highly enough of its convenient, truly central location. The construction has brought new restaurants and retail to the area, which previously catered to the 9-5 population. Southlake Union, Belltown and the shopping district are immediately accessible on foot, and Capitol Hill, Seattle Center and the Central Business District are also within a 1 to 1.5 mile radius. Whether it's a gym, a grocery store or a doctor's office, everything I need is walking distance from my apartment. "
  • Trulia User
"This area is quiet and safe, but close to all the good restaurants and bars in Belltown, an easy walk to downtown offices, and near the Olympic Sculpture Park and museums. Hilly but manageable. Great for someone new to Seattle."
