"My family and I are just visiting the Williamsburg area so I am not 100% sure. What I do know is, it’s very quiet, peaceful and plenty of great restaurants near especially the Jose Mexican restaurant across the street from Golden Corral almost. Really nice "

"There’s a lot of families here, activities for the children is abundant, then you have the historical side which is great for learning. "

"Williamsburg is exciting not because of what it *is*, but because of what it is *going to* be, or what it *could* be. Lots of southern passive aggression, but also lots of truly friendly, laid back people. Look for the city to get younger and younger as the "college town" infrastructure continues to expand."

"I’m not a dog owner, so I really can’t say. There’s not a lot of grassy area and several owners don’t want dogs on their property at all, but there are several dogs in the neighborhood. "

"We don't own any dogs but there are plenty around the neighborhood. Most, if not all, dog owners pick up after their dog. Not sure about leash rules but everyone seems to abide by a leash. Close access to Colonial Williamsburg which seems to be the spot to walk your dog and look at the history. "

"There are a lot of dog owners and dog friendly places to go in the area. People here don’t seem to know how to “curb” their dogs however and so don’t bother putting money into landscaping, planting flowers, etc."

"I was born and raised here and if I could afford to live here I’d stay! The chills are ok if you stay in touch with the teachers and up to date with your child’s progress yourself. It’s clean too."

  • Trulia User
"Many people have dogs but they are very responsible about cleaning up after them. People who have more than two dogs are not allowed according to the HOA, and large dogs need to be friendly for the older neighbors to be excepting of them."
