"seems like a pretty nice area lots of big brick houses and people out and about walking there dogs. just seems like a fairly safe area people seem pretty friendly as far as I can tell. I'm just here for work but if I was from the Pittsburgh area I would probably look in this area to live at least see what's available. "

"i worked in squirrel hill the last 3 to 4 years. good transit options plenty of stores to shop at & places to eat its diverse in its culture & ppl flat land in some areas hilly in other parts close to highway & close to Oakland and downtown. 2 parks to!"

"Shady Ave is a great area to live. Neighborhood is very nice - quiet, pretty landscapes - with friendly people. Frick park is in walking distance. Very good bus routes to Waterfront, Oakland and Downtown. I rent an apartment for on Shady Ave for two years now. "
