"This is a beach community. Dogs can run off leash on the beach. I very rarely see an unleashed dog unless it’s lost. Merchants have bowls of water outside their stores for dogs. We have a couple of nice stores for dog & animal merchandise. "

"Great place for dogs to play on the beach. People regularly walk their dogs on leashes. Rarely see a dog off leash. People mostly pick up after their dogs but still see occasional dog poop. "

"In the area are several condos and 2nd homes as well as 1st homes. This area is great for walking. It is in the South side of the City Center and is great for a car-less weekend or someone who doesn't drive as it is close to many good restaurants& shops "

"Went to Seaside and rented a very nice house on the river. I'm glad we went during the off season. Very quiet, shopping was a pleasure not having to bumb shoulders with lots of other folks.......town very quiet, peaceful and clean. Met some wonderful locals and will be back to visit Seaside."
