"Lots of sidewalks and trails that are great for walking or running. There are a lot of people that walk their dogs off leash which causes problems at times. "

"My husband and I lov to walk to UNC sports events. We can walk to the Dean Dome, Keneen Stadium, Carmichael Auditorium, Boshamer Stadium, the University hospital, Franklin Street and the University itself. Trails abound within walking distance."

"I’m close to my neighbors, my mail carrier, and fellow pet owners. It’s a safe place to be but could do with better lighting at night! Very close proximity to good eateries, but no fast food or local Walmart/Target."

"Kings Mill/Morgan Creek are in a forest/preserve setting next to Botanical Gardens and the Dean Dome. It is very quiet and we know our neighbors. Many young families moving in and a mix of older/new/remodeled homes. Just lovely."

"disappointing - I am new to the area and people are very standoffish....not a lot of interaction and many renters - no a lot of owners so they are not engaged in the community."

"They would fit right in with all the other dog owners. I’m not one though. Some yards need fences. Dogs are a lot of work, and sometimes your friends won’t want them coming along for dinner as part of the social contract. In short, I don’t want a dog, but lots of others around here do."

"I've lived here for 5 years. the people are cordial. it's a quiet neighborhood. there are children but it's not noisy. I can walk/ jog early am or late PM with no problems. on a bus route to unc and downtown chapel hill. buses are free. close to grocery stores banks and some restaurants. neighborhood is clean"

"The location, I feel safe in my neighborhood. Everything is close by, basically walk distance school, shopping, excerise, parks, trail walks"

"The neighborhood is Culbreth Park, which is generally working families and graduate students. The houses are in a back corner of the neighborhood, away from any notable car traffic. Crime is minimal. A neighborhood association ($100/yr) maintains all common areas, and a hiking trail immediately accross the street extends to the greenway for biking and jogging/walking between Southern Village and towards campus. Another trail goes right next to the 108 house up to Culbreth Middle School, whose ballfields abut against the properties. These locations give easy access to school and downtown, as well as Southern Village and the back way into Carrboro/W Franklin. The D-line bus stop is at the neighborhood entrance."
