"One of the safest areas in the city of St. Louis. People who live here love it here. Very walkable. Rental rates are a little high because of demand generated by hospital workers. "

"It’s ok - some issues like car break ins and police activity. But a cute neighborhood otherwise. I really hope it continues to be restored and businesses thrive more"

"Plenty of sidewalks and other people with pets. People are generally pet-friendly in the CWE as long as you keep your dog in a leash and clean up after them. "

"Really honestly it’s just amazing and there are so many restaurants you can go to and if you ever just feel like going for a walk it’s safe for that as well. "

"Most businesses are pet friendly and there are always people walking their dogs around. People are friendly in passing and always stop to pick up trash or aide someone who is in some sort of distress "

"For dog owners, it’s very safe to walk them at night. Usually very well lit and police are around every so often. Trash cans available all over for cleaning up after your dog. Only thing that can be an issue is the sidewalks are a bit skinny if you have a dog who maybe isn’t the most dog friendly. I can imagine that would pose a problem as I’ve had to walk in the street to avoid a barking dog more than once. Never had an issue, though. Owners all do a great job of controlling their furry friends. "

"It has a diverse culture. With Slu being right down the street you have younger people moving in with different price points on housing but you also have older homes that are worth a lot of money and have an older generation just a street over. You have quite a few restaurants that are packed with outside seating on one block and on the next it’s super quiet. "

"Plenty of places for your pet to relieve themselves that doesnt involve someone yard. Considering location walks are usually quite peaceful. Noise levels are bad, people are polite, over all stress free walks."
