Once renowned as the largest grain exchange in existence, the Board of Trade building was erected in 1924 as home to the Kansas City Board of Trade. Today, the building has been painstakingly restored. Great care was taken to maintain many of the original, ornate elements: the decorative terrazzo floors, polished Missouri limestone walls, and facade depicting the various commodities once brokered in the large trading hall on the 14th floor now home to some of the city's most luxurious penthouses. I’m a 5 minute walk from the river market area, a 5 minute walk from the power and light district, and a street car ride away from the crossroads arts district. This area of KC is filled with great restaurants and bars and is pretty safe. I also like how close I am to both the interstates that lead to the north and south of Kansas City. "

    "Easy access to Highways! Their are no idiot drivers to deal with. So those of you with occasional, or all the time road rage, will be pleased with your fellow commuters! It’s nice to have your own vehicle here, however most everything you need on a daily basis is in walking distance. The sidewalks are double wide, for comfortable walking with you and your family. The scenery is Gorgeous here, from the top of the historic architectural tree, to the cute vintage light poles on those sidewalks! Have Fun :) "
