Situated at 10th and Wyandotte in the heart of the Library District, Board of Trade is an innovative, historical renovation project bringing 14 floors of the city's most contemporary apartments to life. Once renowned as the largest grain exchange in existence, the Board of Trade building was erected in 1924 as home to the Kansas City Board of Trade. Today, the building has been painstakingly restored. Great care was taken to maintain many of the original, ornate elements: the decorative terrazzo floors, polished Missouri limestone walls, and facade depicting the various commodities once brokered in the large trading hall on the 14th floor now home to some of the city's most luxurious penthouses. Board of Trade offers a range of studios as well as one- and two-bedroom units. Numerous destination spots are in short walking distance. Upscale amenities abound including a fitness center, complete with modern machines, a Jacuzzi, spa, tanning bed, and indoor swimming pool. Residents will enjoy our computer center, equipped with wireless internet and our large clubroom with indoor putting green. Security is covered from top to bottom by courtesy patrol, keyless entry system, accessible security video feeds, and attached garage parking.
