Crop land and horse farms are less than a mile away, but we have all the shopping and conveniences as well as the old river town of Chaska founded in the 1850's."

"I've lived all over the Twin Cities area and if I had the choice to stay here I would no doubt about it. It's a smaller town with many amenities. No crime, middle class, great for singles, couples, families or the ederly. I'm proud to say I live in Chaska. 212 is very convenient to drive to Eden Prairie for shopping or a commute to Mpls. The only down fall is the flooding in the Spring. Every year it does get extremely frustrating and I tell myself when the roads close and have to take the LONG detour to work everyday that I want to move. But it's usually 2-3 weeks out of the year. That would be the only downfall to living here. I feel safe and everyone is very friendly. Could have more places to dine out. There is a Mills Fleet Farm coming so maybe downt the road there will be more stores, fast food, etc. The condo I've rented for a few years is going into foreclosure and I'm beyond devistated. I do not want to move! If you are not from this area and know nothing about Chaska, you will not be disappointed. I believe it was ranked one of the top 5 cities in Minnesota a few years ago. Small town charm with plenty to do and very close upper scale surrounding towns just a short distance for shopping, dining. Move to Chaska and you'll never want to leave. Thank You!! "
