"I moved to Grand Blanc in June of 2010, so my daughter could attend Grand Blanc High School. She attended Holy Family Elementary School in Grand Blanc for six years prior to attending GBHS. We live within walking distance of downtown, and at the end of street is one of the many community parks Grand Blanc offers. In my opinion Grand Blanc is the most well rounded city in Genesee County. Grand Blanc is home to Genesys Regional Medical Center and Health Club and an IMAX Theater. Grand Blanc is a nice community. The streets are very well maintained. The Grand Blanc Police Department is always looking out for the community. There is a Famers Market on Sundays. Annually there is an Art Festival and the favorite Family Fun Fest. There numerous places to dine-out and many locally owned gift boutiques. Visiting Oliver T’s Gourmet Food and Beverage Specialty Shop is always a treat. Grand Blanc is also the home to the award winning Al Serra Auto Plaza. There is a genuine sense of community here. The owner of Little Joe's Restaurant stays outside in freezing conditions for days to raise donations for Toys For Tots charity every December. You can always count on the Boy Scouts to be selling Christmas Trees and adding to the many parks with an Eagle Scout project. "

"This has been a wonderful family home in a great sub-division, that has a mixture of retirees, families and young marrieds. Grand Blanc is known for it's excellent schools, the district has been one of the top in the state of Michigan. People often move here specifically for the schools. There is an obvious police presence, so it's a safe area. We have pretty much everything we need as far as businesses. Big box stores include Kohl's, Sam's, WalMart, KMart, Kroger, as well as many good restaurants specialty stores and gas stations. We have easy access to the highway, a good Parks and Rec Dept, public library, concerts in the park, a summer Farmer's Market, used to be home to the Buick Open Golf Tournament (until Buick closed out the brand) and we have bike paths from the township to the city and beyond. I don't think you'll find many people who regret moving to Grand Blanc."

"Houses here are cheap, cheap, cheap. Because there is NOTHING to do. No industry, no shopping, no nightlife. It's too close to Flint and too far from nice places to live where people can have a life. "
