What Locals Say about Odenton

  • Trulia User
"Yards are small for the townhomes, but there are tons of common areas, parks, and trails for walks, plus in neighborhoods conveniently placed bags for pick up. Some dog owners aren’t the best about keeping their dogs under control near other dogs, but that is typical "

"The community is one that is well balanced with the people, families, wildlife, and the environment. Deer, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Rabbits, Birds of all varieties, and yes, even the occasional Raccoon and Fox live nearby. Children ride their bikes, razors, or skate boards throughout the community. They play in front of their homes with friends, or in the community playgrounds with parents. Residents exercise, or just relax throughout this community on the many bike paths, nature trails, and roadways. Or at the year round community weight room/lap pool. It offers three community pools, and one each tennis and basketball courts. There is also in community grocery and retail establishments. And for what you want that you do not find, the rest of what you seek is within 10 - 30 minutes drive time depending on your tastes to be satisfied. There is an elementary school located in the community, and middle, and high schools within 10 minutes drive time. Public transportation to light rail runs through the community, or Amtrak to Washington, DC or Baltimore is within easy reach. Also, BWI is 15 minutes north of here too. Piney Orchard is a place to live... whether it be single, newly married, married with children, or empty nesters. It offers a little of everything to all that live here. "
