    "We have fiesta every summer, a carnival basically and a parade for the fellow Italians to rejoice, and those not Italian. We have concerts at the Fitz Hugh Lane house Thursday nights in the summer, and a lot of live entertainment. Beautiful seaside spot for good food, shops, historical landmarks, parks, beaches, etc. Much love for this town and the beauty behind it. "

It’s a friendly place / it also a Tourist area in the summer Main Street is full with stores cute little shops ,restaurants all kinds of Italian ,Latin ,Greek foods. it walking distance to the train station , walking distance beaches it has bike Trails, beautiful view to walk and full your eyes and soul with such calling of nature. Like wale watching, fishing or just enjoying the view of a boat ride out on the North Shore by eating Belfast, lunch or Dinner . And so much more if you really look for fun things to do . Then the fall and winter sit in and the tourists are gone and it’s just the residents that are left behind to enjoy the life that Gloucester’s has to offer . "

    "I have lived in a bunch of places, but i keep coming back here. the restaurants are amazing. The community is involved and there is always something going on. I would say the school needs more funding and growth, but most fall into that category. The beach, the woods, and only 45 to Boston. love it here."
