    "I lived in Countryside from 1977 - 1995. It's a great city with lots of restaurants and shopping. In recent years it looks like they have been making an effort to beautify the the area from 55th street to Joliet along La Grange rd. Over-all it was an great place to grow up."

    "I grew up in Countryside and then moved back into my childhood home several years ago. I have watched Countryside go from a sleepy little town with few amenities to now being a first-class suburb, with great neighborhoods, big lots, beautiful new homes mixed in with a lot of 40's ranch-style houses. Great parks, great shopping, grade school ok, but h.s. (Lyons Township) one of the best in the state. Could use some more restaurants, but those that are there are good. Close access to downtown Chicago via the Stevenson Expressway. Very safe area and Countryside Police a first-class operation."
