"I love Hyde Park, it’s the nicest part of the South side Chicago. They have lots of restaurants here, Whole Foods is around the corners and a lot of other things. It’s safe to walk. It’s just a little bit expensive but rather than that, it’s nice to live in such historic part of the city. My husband is a sub of a few high schools in the area and he said that the lidas are very well behaved."

"We love aspects of living here but plan to move to a safer area. I would not ideally raise our family here. I have personally had my bike stolen, seen a car theft in our back alley, and have been harassed and made to feel unsafe while living here."

"Hyde Park is not what it seems. There is covered up crime and rodent infested buildings! It may look diverse but that is not reflected in the schools because those who can afford it, send their children to the Lab school."
