    "Nearby parks, friendly neighbors, lots of dog owners, and mostly good weather. There are no gated neighborhoods nearby, so we can freely walk the dog through a variety of interesting neighborhoods and visit several pocket parks. There are also a couple vet hospitals and several veterinary doctors practicing near us. There are also some really cool pet shops with dog food, treats, and toys for purchase."

    "With a mix of residents who've raised their families and stayed here, to new, young residents who want a family environment close to, but not in Denver, Wheat Ridge is fantastic. Committed residents are broadening what the community offers to residents, from a new kite festival to the Carnation Festival. It's proximity to downtown (15 mins or so), I-70 and I-25 make it easy to enjoy downtown amenities, escape to the mountains or head out to DIA. Restaurants, brewpubs are continuing to open, and several shopping locations make running errands easy. Best of all, a new Sprouts Market will open at 38th and Kipling! "

    "Recently moved back into this neighborhood, after growing up here. Not a lot has changed, it's still the same well kept homes, and winding little roads I grew up with. The biggest plus to this neighborhood is that you are just outside of Denver, 15 minutes from downtown, so you get all the peace and quiet desired, yet are close enough to the city center to take in all of it's attractions. Other close by neighborhoods such as Old Town Arvada and Belmar, provide enough attractions to make up for things missing with in Wheat Ridge, such as specialty shops, movies and live music venues."

    "This is an older custom home subdivision. Many of the home have been extensively remodeled and updated. Small streets, minimum traffic and established trees and landscaping make it great place to live. It's also near enough to I-70 that you can be at the airport in 45 minutes or in Breckenridge in just about an hour. "
