    "Tracy has had an increase in theft of all kinds. From porch pirates to auto thefts. Buyer beware. Most people do not maintain the properties they have. The city has no interest in upgrading infrastructure for older areas of Tracy. They want to add more people to Tracy. Getting into Livermore can take an hour "

    "I don’t have kids, but am told the Jefferson school district is one of the best in the valley. Also, the little neighborhood parks in the various subdivisions are frequently used and are dog friendly. We live next to one of those parks and I can honestly say they are well maintained and trouble free. "

    "Walkability is okay, they've been putting in a sidewalk from the neighborhood to the shopping area down the street. This is a popular place to walk to for kids and teens, but it's been dangerous because there was no sidewalk and you'd have to walk through dirt. But they have been fixing it! Other than that you can walk anywhere in and around the neighborhood. With the Glenbriar Circle street specifically, I would have labelled pet-friendly excellent, except a woman recently moved in who has a thing against cats. She put out a cat trap to bring them to the pound, even though she knows there are NO strays on our street and most of our fixed, clean, recently-vaccinated cats don't wear a collar. This goes for about half the residents on the street. Fortunately, she stopped, but that's been the cause of quite a bit of drama. Usually it's a pretty safe place, we don't have many burglaries, and the ones you'll hear about tend to be scams for insurance money. If there have been burglaries, there are neighbors who will be kind enough to walk around and alert everyone. I've lived in this neighborhood since it was first being built in 1998, we haven't had kidnappings, whenever there is a suspicious vehicle around the K-8 school when the kids are let out, a letter is immediately sent home to all parents alerting them of the possible danger. The parks are beautiful and well maintained, there's always going to be some graffiti, but certainly nothing that makes the park look shabby, and it's covered pretty quickly. Huge fields at all of the parks (there are 3), during soccer or baseball season there are some little league type games going on, kites are flying in the summer, lemonade stands are popping up around the area, it's wonderful. There isn't much to do for parents, unless you want to be totally involved with your kid and join the PTA or neighborhood watch, and when your kid hits their teen years they might get a bit bored. It's a great place for a young/big family."

    "I've lived here for 10 years and the proximity to the much desired Jefferson School District elementary and middle schools is a great plus. Very friendly neighbors, clean streets and front yards. Safe neighborhood with great parks. (I think streets may be wider than usual, which adds to the overall appeal). Trees in older part of this subdivision have reached their maximum growth potential and created beautiful tree-lined avenues. Recently added shops nearby are Red Maple Village shopping center with banks, Raleys supermarket, a taqueria, yoghurt place. Rite Aid is within walking distance. McDonalds and Walgreens complete the desirability of this location."
