What Locals Say about Hillcrest

  • Trulia User
"Hillcrest has some amazing private schools that are known across the U.S. These schools that will serve as a stepping stone to assist your children in the admissions process to an Ivy League University. Hillcrest is a very dog friendly neighborhood with many if not all parents picking up after them. If you are looking for work… lol I hope you work in the field of medicine. "

"Hillcrest is busy but friendly - and a walker's paradise. I walk to Balboa Park, lots of restaurants and bars, grocery and drug stores, my hair stylist, and most any other service I could want. The Uptown Condo development adds to that with a wonderful solar-heated saltwater pool, hot tub, gym, our own dog park, and underground parking. "

"Hillcrest "simulates" both the walkable communities of the East Coast (shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance) and the amenities of the West Coast (Balboa Park is an easy walk away and a great running destination if so inclined). "

Beautiful parks and Balboa Park that provides educational museums for all ages and many mediums including but not limited to learning ballet… plus great food. And free summer concerts… and so much more. You have to visit to believe it."
