The Stuart Mesa Community is located on base, just a mile from the front gate of Camp Pendleton and Interstate 5, and a few miles from the famed Del Mar Beach and Oceanside Pier. The 22 mile-long SPRINTER offers a green transportation alternative along the Highway 78 corridor to 15 different stations, which are also serviced by the BREEZE bus system. Additionally, the COASTER trains, which run south to San Diego, connect with the SPRINTER in Oceanside. There are a number of local elementary, middle, and high schools around Stuart Mesa, with LAX and San Diego Airport less than two hours away.

Gentrification is on in a big way here with property values climbing quickly. It is a walkable urban, beachside neighborhood. I love downtown Oceanside, but I could get priced out soon, which is sad.
