"Diverse neighborhood and almost everyone says hello, it feels like a neighborhood where most people know each other. The only thing is fireworks May through July, waking kids and scaring pets and making it hard for tired parents. We like that everyone decorates for holidays."

"This is not the best neighborhood for children. It’s often dangerous, people speed when driving down the street, blow through stop signs, etc. I would also be scared of children walking home from school alone. "

"Close to freeways and close to the downtown area. We don’t walk much in the neighborhood as it oftentimes feels unsafe, especially at night. Due to a lack of parking we often use ride share apps to get around town, again, especially at night. "

"there are numerous dog owners. although I don't own a dog anymore I'd say that some people pick up their poop instead of living on people's porches"

"I've lived in Wrigley for 23 years and this is a very nice and quiet area of Long Beach. The Wrigley area has historical properties and most of the people on the block has been living here for as long as I have some 20+ years. We look out for one another. Neighbors are respectful of one another. The only con about some areas of Wrigley is the zoning. I don't like the fact that years ago the zoning changed which allowed contractors to build apartments on a block with homes. This create parking nightmares for the homes who has no drive way or garages. So by mixing the zoning, you have no room for your guest to park on an already congested street due to apartments. This was really my basis for moving, I had a driveway and a garage but I didn't like the fact that for every two houses there was an apartment next to it which was really ridiculous. Other than that Wrigley is a wonderful place to live with the beach being about 6 minutes away to downtown. This was only the case for some areas of Wrigley, not all of Wrigley. Definitely a nice place to raise children."

"I love Wrigley! It's a great value. I take walks almost every day. Neighbors are friendly, and there's plenty of parking. I can hop the Metro into downtown Los Angeles or to the beach. It's also super convenient--blocks away from medical centers, markets, drug stores, restaurants and boutiques. Trader Joe's and Costo are both about 6 minutes away by car. The area's been improving--people are fixing up their houses, landscaping their front yards. The city plans to pour millions more into Wrigley, and there are comprehensive plans in place to fix up the LA River next to us into an extensive park system and community center."
