What Locals Say about Huntington Beach

  • Trulia User
"I work based at home so I couldn’t tell ya. But it’s close enough to downtown when I have meetings down there to ride my bike down. And good access to freeways, the most I commute is to North County SD or Beverly Hills."

"Safe, open community. Cost of living and housing is exorbitantly and almost prohibitively expensive. NOT for night shift workers. Daily noises include air traffic, lawn mowers just about every day and housing is extremely close together. Restaurants are fantastic and there is a trader Joe's centrally located which is great. "

"The surrounding neighborhood will deceive you! This street and the offshoot cul-de-sacs are off the beaten path and not a whole lot of through traffic passing by except the occasional test-drive from nearby car dealerships. Walking distance to 5-Points Plaza, Terry Park, and a host of other shopping, restaurants, and services. A short drive or bike ride to the beach. The public school is EXCELLENT with a lot of parent involvement and teachers, staff, and faculty who genuinely care about kids' success. There is a 55+ community nearby and with most of the backside of Carnaby being industrial - it's pretty quiet at night. We are very blessed to live here and if you had the opportunity - you should live here, too!"
