"This is really a great city to live in not hard to know exactly where everything is. City Hall is very helpful as far as navigating if this would be your first time coming, but overall, it’s a great place to live. Everyone has a personal preference so to each his own, but much better than Hartford"

"There’s a boat launch up the street that’s getting a trail connecting it to a new park being built. Also at the end of the street is A.W Stanley park which also has a long trail/walkway and a lot of open space for dogs to run around "

"There is public transportation. I have my own car. So my commute is effortless most days. It would help if everyone knew how to drive properly. But I’m not a cop so to each their own. "

"Some owners don’t pick up after their dogs and it’s not fair that I do when others do-not,I think people should be more respectful."

"For pets haters, they’re everywhere. For low income households, this area is not suitable for you. For car owners, it’s not safe from wheel theft or drunk accidents. Mostly family living, and kids."

"Don’t let your kids go out alone unsupervised. Make sure that they become very familiar with their surroundings. People drive like maniacs in New Britain, worse than Mass drivers. Also pedestrians think they have the right of way and often just walk out into traffic. Make sure your kids know how to cross the streets (crosswalks) they will live longer. "

"I grew up here and it's definitely not the same as back in the days as far as living. taxes are outrageous and schools have declined. I don't feel to safe even though we have new staff of police and a brand new billion dollar police station. it's modern day gentrification but with crime all around. "
