Since the school is against the first amendment I thought I would share my story with this HORRIBLE school. The school will hire anyone to drive our kids. My daughter takes the Scorpion bus and the drive is always late. Whether she is picking up and dropping off. She had the nerve to ask that my child and I wait for her in the middle of the road with traffic coming from both directions. She said that we are not ready when she arrives which is a LIE. The school COVERS for her lateness. Obviously the well being of the students in her care is non existent and this SHOULD reflects badly on the school. I would not recommend this school, this bus, or this district. They don't understand freedom of speech. It is verbal or physically so I'm here to remind them. So if you have the ability to take your kids to a different school do it! Don't chance your child failing because the people in charge don't have a clue.

This school has a huge teacher and staff turnover so there is an obvious issue with the way they treat their staff

Worst school ever. They allow bulling and they don't do anything. Even let kids threaten other kids life(death threats) and take no action

Worst school in district especially the admin and the new assistant principal just looking for reasons to get kids in trouble teachers are alright.

It would take me forever to write something about the school I don't feel like the school cares about the children learning they care more about make you day rules. I get a call from the school at least five times a day some of the things they call about is so small and then the kids will bring a make you day slip. The parent have to keep getting off work to go down to the school they don't care about the parents' job or anything it's like they are trying to punish the parents for whatever the child does which I have no understanding. I have found a school that I am looking at I am just not wanting to pull them right out but they will be changing School there is way too much bullying teachers do not give a care about these children my son got into a fight school didn't even know about it I tried to reach out 3 weeks and no one called me back it escalated where me and the parent had words never got that far I am now .smh maybe one day it will get better but it's not good for my children and I know sometimes they can get in the room but one thing I know is I don't have rude disobedient children.

I love Tres Rios all 3 of my girls go there and they all love it !!!Awesome staff!

This is a great school, with wonderful staff. It seems like about 10% of the teachers are newer teachers, the rest are seasoned vets. The staff is very supportive of students who try hard, but are kind of lenient towards students who behave poorly. Though the Teachers do work hard to try and engage the students. The Special Education Department is Tier 1 in my opinion. They are constantly taking the SPED students on trips to expose them to new things, getting new technology to help the SPED students learn in different ways, advocating for the students in areas that their families may not have known about. If you have a SPED student, you may want to add this school to your list. As far as safety is concerned, there are cameras everywhere, and there are around 10 security guards, and a School resource officer who works on Campus daily. The campus isn't easy to access to outsiders.The administrators like to invite parents to the school after hours for college preparedness workshops, as well as many other community events held throughout the school year. There are a whole host of extra curricular activities that this school offers as well. Things like sports, acting, art, music, photography, etc.The grounds are beautiful, and well maintained. The facility has a full sized Theatre, excellent football field, and basketball court, and a great weight room.Overall this school is a good school with some room to improve. I would still recommend though.

My daughter has attended this school for 5 years with no issues since principle Manahan became principle he has target my daughter he definitely does not like black kids and has no care for your child to succeed. My daughter has no record not a problem child at all but he asked the district to put her out of school due to him being afraid of her. Discrimination at its finest stay away from this school if you are of color he (Principle ROBERT MANAHAN)will lie and do everything to take your child down. It’s sad he is a principal. A principal should have the best interest for your child he definitely failed mines thank god she don’t have to deal with his harassment anymore..
