3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible, kids get lost their first year. There is no real support, they expect kids to reach out for support despite teachers complaining. The honors program is a joke. They try to sell you something they are not during orientation, please refrain from sending your child there especially if your child was an honors student prior to attending here.Parent Review2w ago13 Reviews - Ps 14 Senator John Calandra

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy child has been going here for 3years now. each year a different issue. education wise, great for my child. when it comes to other stuff like bullying, classmates, teachers not the best.. last year my kid had a few classmates that always screamed in the class... it made issues when it came to learn, food, leave the school for home... year before bullying and my kid didn't want to go in the school.... . it's a very clean school. staff are mostly friendly. I'm not sure how it would be for a kid who need extra help. if you child is good with learning, I wouldn't worry. the rest can be fixed.Parent Review10mo ago16 Reviews - Urban Institute Of Mathematics

"It is a nice area. It has a church, but the buses go up and down. They are stealing tires and cars and nothing is being done about it. "

"Unique neighborhood in NYC hidden gym in the Bronx safe and family oriented right on the water across from 3 million dollar houses where you get the same house for a fraction of the price in comparison, one of the last hidden great neighborhoods of nyc, restaurants entertainment close by along with quiet safe environment 20 min in non rush hour times to the city to enjoy anything the city has to offer."

"I have a dog, a small 2 year old Yorkie. The neighborhood is fairly safe for dogs, but, there is a lot of glass on the ground. There is also some form of toxic substance in the grass that makes my dogs mouth foam. "

"What I don’t particularly like is that some homeowners stand in front of their house door and watch you the ENTIRE time you’re walking your dog as if they believe you won’t pick up after yourself which is the furthest from the truth as I always pick up after my dog. Other than that it’s a dog friendly neighborhood. "
