Graduated in 2008... even then the school district was pretty abysmal - but we had a bridge program with DCC, high levels of participation in AP classes, solid Musicals every year, and some truly supportive and caring staff... others were ancient and needed to go or were too new to teaching and didnt have strong enough presence in their classrooms. "Guidance" was essentially a joke, and the administration was and more than likely remains extremely sub par. That being said, if you're a parent who is actively involved in their child's life and education, provide the right amount of structure and supportive home life (if you can afford to living so far from any legitimate economic engines) then your kid should still be able to squeeze a legitimate education from this place... but they should not be expecting much as far as college preparation/readiness.School could really use help from the community, but with administration being so ineffective it doesnt seem promising

My son has special needs, and this school is bending over backwards to help him. He went from being severely impacted by his needs at the age of three, to being almost five and being able to respond to my questions! This morning, he ran into school saying, "I love school!" What a difference. Kudos to the faculty and staff here.

My children had a wonderful experience at EBIS and I am so grateful to the teachers, administration, and staff here!
