5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy wife and I have two children enrolled at Jefferson in the KDLI (Korean Dual Language Immersion) program, grades 1st and 3rd. We find that the support from the entire staff go above and beyond to help both the children and parents succeed. The PTA is constantly volunteering their time to create fun social events such as the end of the year carnival, a fundraising Turkey Jog-athon, and winter movie night just to name a few! Every morning during drop off there are parent volunteers helping direct and control. The front office staff do an amazing job of keeping the kids, parents, admin and teachers stay connected. The staff has been well trained to keep our kids safe during an emergency. A few years ago there a threat close by the school and staff got the children to safety. During the lockdown the staff communicated with parent via an app that parents have exclusive access to. The leadership of the school is led by Ms Dougherty and her amazing team. Principal Dougherty is an open individual that is alway willing to listen to the concerns that may improve the quality of the school. On selective mornings the school provides coffee chats to help keep parents and staff to stay informed about current topics such as technology, bullying, goals and current progress towards the goals of the school. There are combined groups of admin, teachers and parent volunteers to help the success of the school such as PLI (Parent Leadership Institute), SSC (School Site Counsel), and PTA. We highly recommend this school!Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Katella High School

"My husband suggested it to me and I agreed, it’s me. I agreed to check it out and I didn’t think I’d like it, but for some ungodly reason, I did, I mean like it. So we begin our search for the perfect home for us and our our children."

"Some families petition around the block to close the street on the 4th of July, it turns into a block party of sorts with people barbecuing in the street. Since it’s a family neighborhood it’s really lively on holidays and closing the street makes it much safer for everyone as well! There’s lots of great yard sales, car shows, and different markets/ carnivals that happen at parks and plazas within just a couple blocks. I LOVVVEE this neighborhood "

"This is my first apartment in Anaheim. Only reason I will leave is my Son’s school and family live elsewhere. This apartment has served us well and helped us to reestablish what we list. "

"It’s dangerous and super sketch . No parking EVER ! Your car could be stollen from your driveway so don’t even pull in leave it running while you go inside to grab something . Homeless population digs through trash so shred everything . Neighbors are very loud and disrespectful across the board . It’s not unusual to have noise from a party well until 1/2 am . Cars typically double park or park in a fashion where you can not exit your own driveway. "
