9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school experience was highly unsatisfactory and unwelcoming. Since it was the only school near us, we had no choice but to stay. The majority of the staff favored students of their preferred race over others, and some teachers’ political stances were evident in the classrooms. My child endured bullying from classmates and received no assistance from the staff. I strongly advise against this school, particularly the principal, who clearly had issues with other races.Parent Review1mo ago18 Reviews - Northwood High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad both kids graduate from NWH. This school is top notch in every way. When you hear your kids say college is easier than high school, you know you made a choice living in Northwood sending them to Northwood High.Parent Review10mo ago22 Reviews - Brywood Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have been there for several years now. The principal lacks leadership abilities and accountability. All you need to do is walk the campus to witness the lack of pride and leadership- the campus is dirty. Trash left everywhere, all the time. Backpacks, clothes, lunch bags and balls are left out all over the campus. Its never cleaned up and kids aren't held accountable. The bathroom are filthy with spider webs and cockroaches. Safety- why in today's society IUSD doesn't fence in the schools or create a barrier is senseless and irresponsible. The school borders are public park and walkways with no barriers. Are they waiting for an unfortunate event to occur? There are many opportunities to improve the teaching and learning. The principal doesn't believe in spelling tests. Yet I see no progress in my child's ability to spell words. The lack of leadership is evident in the teaching and school environment. Other IUSD schools are not like this.Parent Review4mo ago29 Reviews - Check out schools near 38 Monroe.

"All areas are clean. They do have some plastic bags for dog pooping. Nice job cleaning! But while walking our dogs the street light at Roosevelt and Monroe are not lit-ten up so we couldn’t see where we were walking."
