9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePaul Revere Middle School should not be attended by any child who is gifted or has a 504. I asked about the GATE program and the lead counselor actually laughed. I have to distribute the 504 to the teachers ( allergies) and discovered administration did not give it to them .There are fights all the time. The administration only communicates with the head of the booster club- Pride, especially during emergencies. It's pretty much a clique with toxic parent WhatsApp groups. Working with the counselors is an absolute nightmare, they will try to discourage your child from any challenging class; I have examples but the school would know who I am and potentially take it out on my child. Additionally, the magnet is not self contained. In the tours they sell it like it is a school within a school with attention for your advanced learner. But, it is really just 1800 kids that go to school together and you are just a number. Lots of MAGA families. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRISON.Parent Review3mo ago49 Reviews - University Senior High School Charter

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is disproportionately minority students and caters to kids who are not white and straight. I constantly get messages about equity and inclusion and how I should support it but nothing ever about how to protect all student from the weekly fights that take place between non-white students. The Spanish teacher (chair of the Spanish Dept.) has an LGBTQ flag in her classroom that she took down for back to school night when parents were going to be at the school. The next day, she put it back up. Strange. Seems she’s hiding something. Patents are not made to feel welcome and are questioned at the entrance upon showing ID. I’m surprised they’re not frisked, which is what should be done with most of the students. They also got rid of school security for the 2022-23 school year and fights broke out weekly, if not more, between non-white students. Our child won’t be returning.Parent Review2y ago29 Reviews - Kenter Canyon Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been here since tk until 5th. Just terrible unfriendly teachers. Some of the years there we no teachers, just substitute or the moms running the class. Not too many events in the school and if there is they charge a lot. Hard to meet other parents here. The principal is out of it. My child did not get into a private middle school mostly because the teachers and principals incompetentcyParent Review2mo ago36 Reviews - Check out schools near 11626 Gorham Ave.
