"Far for Bay Area workers. Rush hour is pretty bad going westbound in the mornings, and just as bad going eastbound in the evenings."
  • Beate Moon
"I don’t like the fact that half the people who walk their dog don’t pick up after them. The dogs are welcome in my neighborhood. We have a lot of people walking their dog in our neighborhood sometimes they run around loose, but they are all friendly. We have a park close by which has a nice trail. "
  • Macbrandt22
"i see a lot of people walk their dogs around here. there’s also some parks around where people let their dogs run around. "
  • Shay
"My commute to downtown takes from 30 to 50 minutes. There are several route options available. I usually check my map app before leaving and choose the fastest route."
  • Macbrandt22
"there’s lots of young families. everyone talks to each other and helps each other out! lots of fun parks "
  • Heidi S.
"There are a lot of pet-friendly people in this neighborhood. People tend to look out for loose pets and help get them back home."
  • Robbie C.
"Lived here for 6 years although it is still pretty safe, it has got worse within the last 3 years. The homeless population has increased. Property break in and theft has been rising. Packages are being stolen off residence door steps. "
  • Sohab A.
"we live here and it's the best neighborhood in California. This is a place for family with kids. "
  • Mandy_mexican
"We moved here in 2008. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful. "
  • Mandy_mexican
"This is a nice area with good working class people. Very friendly and helpful neighbors. Property taxes are reasonable compared to Roseville (they have extra bonds etc.), and SMUD electricity saves compared to PG&E. There are two parks within a 5 minute walk. No neighborhood fees, etc. Definitely not house poor here."
  • Chuck
"I have had homes in Antelope since it became a "Census-designated place" with its own name and zip code. The schools are great (5 of my children attended here), the weather is good, the area is clean. Crime is limited to kids and their curiosities. Overall, a great place to raise a family."
  • helives316
"Very quiet cul de sac; nice neighbors;"
  • Mark C. H.
"My ex-wife just purchased a house in Antelope. I was amazed to learn that some parts of Antelope share the same schools with Roseville; Dry Creek and Roseville school system so our son is now going to a top rated school!"
