  • Barbara S.
"I use public transportation and it's difficult. You definitely need a car to get around. It's especially hard in the wintertime when the buses run behind schedule and the weather gets messy."

  • Robinhood.shrestha
"It's nice and quite. Lawns are well maintained. You see many people walk their dogs. Many people jogs during warm weather. Plus school is in close proximity."
  • Erik I.
"People are kinda snooty but it’s safe. My dog (a pit) gets comments even when he’s the best behaved. Is what it is... still very dog friendly. Same goes when I let my kid ride his mini bike. Then again maybe it’s because I’m a biker... probably my fault. This neighborhood looks down on me. But the schools are great for my babies and it’s an amazing place to raise a family. Snooty people will be who they are... is what is. I know I talk uneducated but I do have 14 years of higher education 🤷🏻‍♂️. In all I’d definitely recommend this neighborhood to any family. "
  • Felicia S.
"Christmas time Santa Claus comes around on the firetruck also nearby church every summer has Bible study"
  • Ceggleston123
"Nice mix of retirees and young families. Relatively quiet area and very convenient to stores, fitness centers, etc. "
  • Tracy G.
"Majority of People in the community living off credit .They care more about the cars they drive and labels they wear. They are obsessed with image rather than people. Many start non for profits to make money off the poor than actually wanting to help.would rather hit your children with cars;but do not because it might make a dent in there car that's more important than. They go to church and speak behind each other's backs. Smile in face backstabbers. Agoraphobic."
  • Danielle R.
"We don’t really have events but I wish we did, especially geared towards kids. Tonawanda, Clarence and Williamsville all community events but it doesn’t seem like Amherst does much. The Marriott does a summer food truck Friday with live music in June that is really popular. "
  • Rob L.
"Dog owners enjoy the neighborhood as most of the streets have sidewalks. There are some streets that are busier so off leash walkers need to be more careful. "
  • Peggyderr81
"We have block parties which help neighbors get to know one another. We also have events for children where the fire trucks come"
  • Geree M.
"We have annual block parties. We are creating a co-op. We have an annual art fair. There are holiday events that focus on children, but include things for everyone. "
  • Khirsten J.
"Plenty of sidewalks for dog walking . Lots of kids in the neighborhood . No dog park . Neighbors pick up after themselves "
