"It is the very best when you know all of your neighbours up and down the street and around the corners and even the ones across the backyard"
  • Trulia User
"The dog park option , all dogs are the sweetest and owners handle their pets well. The dog park ppl and dogs are like their own community "
  • Fcsimmons
"Dogs are everywhere here. No problems with owners taking them off leash or cleaning up after them. So far they seem fine."
  • Briana
"They would like that there are a lot of places to walk with dogs. And some doggie paper stands and many others have dogs too "
  • E.hunsinger10
"safe, quiet but cow smell at night. few bugs. HOA will fine you for trash cans left out past the pick up date or parking on the street"
  • Phillip C. C.
"it's Grown on me, I didn't like the idea of living out here, but it's what I could afford at the time, HWY 347 can be a pain, wish they would use our tax dollars to add more routes to get to the I-10 freeway"
  • Shawna B.
"There is no public transportation at this time therefore you must have a vehicle, bike or rides are such as uber/lyft. Most people in Maricopa commute into town (Chandler, Phoenix, Tempe, Etc.) for work."
  • Jason G.
"It’s not bad in town, but traveling north on the 347 towards Phoenix is horrible in the morning and southbound in the late afternoon. "
  • Jonathan B.
"It's great for dog owners because there are lots of green space, parks, and sidewalks. However, it's hot in the summer."
  • Leyla B.
"The city of Maricopa has many events year round. The Christmas festival is amazing and the Jan ballon festival and then the salsa festival and forth of July festivities "
  • Kara R.
"The 347 is horrible. Accidents daily at Riggs backups can take hours to clear. Trying to get out of copa can be a nightmare, have had to adjust my work schedule so I leave before the rush at 5am and get home before the backups at 3"
  • Kara R.
"I don’t know I don’t own a dog. There are plenty of sidewalks, and lost dogs do seem to be found quickly. "
  • Jason G.
"One of the safest, and friendliest places I’ve ever lived. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know and care about. "
  • Jessica B.
"great neighbors and well maintained. feels very safe here in MARICOPA. Not a lot of crime compared to the city"
  • Monica A.
"Great place to have dogs and the dog park is great! People have dogs and care about others and their pets! "
  • Ashbaugh.tyler4
"my neighborhood has great access to all main roads as well as public transportation. But if you work in any other town especially scottsdale plan on leaving work no later then 2:30pm and driving to work in the morning plan on leaving no later then 5:00 am or you will be waiting in traffic for atleast an extra 1hr without any accidants or hold-ups. S.R 347 is awful and desperatley needs to be widened theirs no choice to it or move."
  • Laura P.
"MY neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I love living here. I'm really gonna miss it when our landlord sells the home."
  • Tricia J.
"On a good day you are 20 mins to the I-10 at Chandler. Lots at Chandler with the 202 being right there, the Arizona Mills Mall, Harkins Theater, and even IKEA. 347 is a bit crazy but that just means you need to pay attention to the road and stay off your phone. I didn't commute daily so it was perfect for me. "
  • Johanna L. G.
"Safety in general responsibility supervision and health and wellness of the family be knowledgeable about neighborhoods and community’s "
  • annon.
"There is no public transportation except for a shuttle that is 99% of the time used to go to the airport."
  • Normahoskinsl
"This is a quiet neighborhood. Neighbors speak when they see you. We have not seen any wild animals. This area is well maintained. "
  • Katherine
"Safe, Friendly Neatly kept. Downside is the traffic leaving town for Phoenix. It can take over an hour to get out of town in the early morning hours. One way in and only one way out. "
  • Rockthomps
"It literally stinks here and the neighborhoods have been planned to make it difficult to get around. People are nasty"
  • Irene O.
"be cautious of those around you due to the big numbers of kidnappings that have happened recently even at your local walmarts and parking lots"
  • Wally N.
"For everyday living, North Maricopa is surprisingly good. Everything you need is here, plus additional is being built. For entertainment and nightlift, there are two casinos, one 5 minutes south the other about 20 minutes north, and the quality of entertainers is good to excellent, but that's about it. Broadway-quality shows at Gammage Theater are about a half-hour north, along with most everything else."
  • awaschbusch
"Love it!!! Far enough from the city with all the conveniences in walking distance. Soon to be the hot spot for growth in the valley area. "
  • ditucaz
"Clean, open, close to everything but very little traffic and super quiet community. "
  • stevea a.
"I work in Maricopa and find it very convenient to live so close to the main drag, yet secluded enough to be very private. "
