  • Eden K.
"Neighborhood is great for families, but a little expensive for younger adults living in the area. Walk ability is lower as it’s mostly neighborhoods and very few shops and restaurants to go to unless you live closer to the middle of Magnolia. Very safe neighborhoods, don’t need to worry about nightly walks/runs. Neighbors are pretty friendly and outgoing, willing to help one another out. We also have a wonderful park (Discovery). "
  • Mhksrptvwj
"Sidewalks are well maintained and parks decently kept. Several other dogs in neighborhood. Never had a bad encounter with another dog/dogs on a walk. "
  • Jesenia Contreras
"I enjoy West Seattle, it’s been a great area to live in with my family and dog. We appreciate the walkable community. "
  • Rodolfo Penagos Ruiz
"I like that there’s a beautiful park, neighbors are very frindely, and it’s pet friendly. I recommend this neighborhood."
  • Rodolfo Penagos Ruiz
"I like that there is Good food near this place. Also the neighborhood feels safe and it’s pet friendly."
  • Trulia User
"Community gatherings and activities are what stand out from other places. Very accessible to public transportation and local businesses. Nice place to live if you don’t mind the street noise at night."
  • Kierre
"For the most part it is very peaceful and a lot of parks nearby with great views and a lot of grassy areas "
  • Eric Accornero
"Lots of people usually out and about on walks it’s always nice. Each street in my area has its own charm and appeal "
  • Maggie Alexander
"I’ve been living here for 4 months. It’s nice. Friendly people, maybe too friendly, maybe I’m just an introvert."
  • Nicole Pulick
"Community events, block parties, and community yard sales We also have a nice mix of condos and apartments, but also a lot of single family homes. "
  • Gkpckmz8tj
"A lot of good parks in the neighborhood, excellent schools at all levels, and good sports fields for rec sports "
  • Erika Larsen
"farmers market every sunday. lots of events. music festivals. classes. opportunities to connect. diverse cuisines on every block. "
  • Michael Newcomer
"Magnolia is safe, clean, and quiet. I think it’s the best place in all of Seattle to live. It’s close to everything you need without being in the center of it all. "
  • Cj Nellis
"Not easy to get out of Ballard. Over crowded streets, too many cars for such a small area with not a lot of main streets or highways to go from east to west or vice versa. The public transit isn’t great, rarely on time. "
  • Wilmalew
"I‘ve lived here for 58 years and would not move out of the neighborhood, great library, stores and restaurants "
  • Debra F
"Walkable and close to a lot of amenities and to neighborhood shops and dining; lots of means for transportation."
  • Shaun
"Nothing really they hold a block party on bell street but it’s not the whole neighborhood and I wish people were more open and friendly. I have lived in Seattle for over twenty years so I have watched it change over time "
  • Dan Garratt
"Lots of hills, so get ready to get your steps in. There are plenty of dog parks throughout Seattle. I like trying a new dog park each week."
  • Cristinant
" It’s a good neighborhood, friendly , loves arts. Not as safe as 10 years ago but still safe. The new buildings kinds of take away some of the beauty though, too tall and some build too fast to be good quality, some ugly floor plans. Overall still a good neighborhood. "
  • Jake Reedy
"There are tons of safe routes and parks for walking dogs. Sidewalks everywhere and drivers are aware."
  • Abdul Malik Ford
"This neighborhood is quiet, relatively safe, and downtown White Center is pretty cool, especially the skating rink!"
  • Sarah Reedy
"There is a good amount of grassy area just be respectful to clean up after your dog! We love walking our pup here, she has lots of smells and places to explore."
  • Jennifer Smith
"I utilize my car to get around the city, but bus stations are nearby and used often as public transit. "
  • Erika Grieg
"I’ve lived here in LQA/Uptown since late September 2020; and love it here… there’s good food and bars, lots of things going on, Seattle Center is pretty lively, etc."
  • Trulia User
"Mostly friendly dogs and their friendly humans. Plenty of places to explore with lots of new smells everyday "
  • Shaun
"Kraken games at the climate pledge arena, other events at the arena. Ballet if you are into that. "
  • Emilysjostrom77
"People walking dogs all the time, most have proper etiquette and will cross the street if you also have a dog so they don’t be aggressive towards each other"
  • Kyra Facer
"The summer festival and all of the wonderful restaurants. I like that it’s close to the city but far enough to get space "
  • Timea Hanratty
"Various Sports events and watch parties, book clubs, park events, restaurant weeks, farmers markets, etc. "
  • DLF
"Easy bike walk ride the bus or take the car. Many different ways to get around in this neighborhood."
  • Carson
"Prohibitively expensive, but it is my hometown so I stay and find the beauty where I can. Great food and outdoor activities."
  • Travis Bussard
"Decent selection of restaurants and entertainment. Centrally located to other Seattle neighborhoods, although being so close to the arena and relying on Mercer St to get to I5 means most weekends you just end up staying home rather than deal with traffic. "
  • Larry Ballesteros
"Great views, 670 steps from the water to my front door. Great neighborhood and restaurant friendly. It gets noisy in the summer on Alki avenue "
  • Hailey Merrill
"Lots of families, parks and kids playing around the neighborhood. Seems very safe and a cool community center available. "
  • Kennaherzog
"Great access to Seattle Center events. On non-event days, very community oriented and neighborhood vibe."
  • Destani Wiltz
"Street parking is a big challenge, parking tickets and people hit your car parked on the street. There’s a lot of traffic in this area"
  • Lisacraze
"No sidewalks but I know all my neighbors all around and up and down the street. A great neighborhood for pet and people walking."
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood is full of young families and the neighborhood beach club is a huge hit with the families for swimming, social and bbqs. "
  • Trulia User
"great place for students but still it's Lil bit unsafe comparing to other areas it can be improved. other amenities are great"
  • Trulia User
"Area is busy and street traffic may be dangerous on busier streets. Homeless population may be an issue near the freeway "
