  • Sarah-and Clayton Walley
"It’s a really nice community where people are willing to help neighbors and are very friendly. Super fun for kids during Halloween and Christmas. People go all out! It’s a quiet neighborhood and feels safe."
  • Debbiergannon
"I only commute 11 miles so great for me! No public transportation here- everyone has at least 1 car."
  • Pamela S.
"It is a nice neighborhood and people are friendly. It is also dog friendly. In general people keep up their yards. "
  • Rosscyndi11
"Sendera Ranch in the past had a great Texan feel, however the area has grown very quickly and the feeling of a community has changed."
  • Veronikaeve
"Trunk or Treat, 4th of July, Christmas in the Park. Then there is the close town of Haslet that has a lot of yearly events as well. "
  • Julie R.
"july 4th is very nice. lots of fireworks and its a 30 min display. park nearby has lights for christmas. "
  • lizette
"Dog owners will like the big backyards for their dogs & the walking trails that can be used for walking dogs. "
  • Suarez_joel
"I love my house at love my neighbors but I have to downsize. 7 miles away from 35w and 40 minutes to DFW airport"
  • Gary
"We have community events with food trucks and vendors. Our neighborhood fireworks are awesome. There are community churches and schools are very close. "
  • Rachael K.
"It’s long, but doable. Nothing is exactly close, but the landscape is beautiful. The trains can cause a ton of backed up traffic though so time it out."
  • Shxrrff
"There isn't a dog park, but what you WOULD like is the miles of walking trails for you to walk with your companion on. "
  • Chuck B.
"Very comfortable and friendly community. Sendera is growing very fast. Certain times of the day traffic is intolerable. "
  • Paula W.
"Lots of families in the neighborhood and kids playing outside: riding bikes, fishing, swimming, basketball, etc. "
  • Tori
"Very busy and overpopulated neighborhood... be warned if not used to this kind of living area. Traffic can be annoying."
  • Pamela S.
"I just moved into this neighborhood and it is quiet and the neighbors keep their yards and homes up very nicely. "
  • Gary
"My neighborhood is peaceful, we have walking trails, a fishing pond and three pools. The access to our neighborhood has sidewalks and large open spaces "
  • Jasons S.
"The area has a great school district and wonderful people and it’s a small little community, that is growing very fast and not always able to keep up with it’s need for additional infrastructure. "
  • Trulia User
"No dog park and we really need one and have plenty of room for a few in the neighborhood. They need to be social with other dogs "
  • Cindyjackson m.
"You need a car to get anywhere other than cvs and the traffic is awful getting in or out of the neighborhood "
  • Veronikaeve
"I’ve lived in this community for 4 years. We rented first before we bought. Bottom line, the community is great. Sure there are going to be a few bad eggs, but as a whole, I have seen this community come together many times over in support of one another. If you are looking to live in this area, Talk to some of the people, they are almost always friendly enough to chat and tell you about the neighborhood."
  • Shelby D.
"Go starter-home area, however, expect to commute. Takes about 15 minutes to get out of Halset alone, plus there are constant trains to consider. If you don’t work far from Haslet, it’s no problem. "
  • Newyorksmiley
"There are lots of kids that play and walk around the neighborhood. There are also lots of schools within walking distance."
  • Newyorksmiley
"there is an awesome fireworks show across the street for July 4th that we like to watch. Christmas time they have a lights display at the town park as well."
  • Andrea B.
"The area has 3 swimming pools and walking trails. This neighborhood also has 2 daycares in ut along with 2 Elementary schools and 1 middle school. "
  • K r.
"It’s like the neighborhood I grew up in, kids play outside on the evenings. We have block parties a couple times a year. We know all of our neighbors, and spend time with them. We all look after one another. Schools are excellent. "
  • Sahatherley
"Great family community. We have lived here for four years and the proximity to community events , churches, restaurants and all this with a country view of castle in the near by fields."
  • Susie W.
"I work in this area and I have grown to love it. It's only minutes to area shopping (brand new WalMart opens first week of Oct.-2013.). Close to restaurants. Great access to major highways - 287/I-35 yet still enjoy country living.. Best of both worlds!"
  • edk n.
"The community is just a few miles from Alliance Town Center with LOTS of amenities! New Walmart opening Fall 2013 within 2 miles of home. Home Depot, Target and various shops and restaurant coming soon. I like the area and it's fairly quite. A new large park within a few miles will be opening in summer 2014 with lots amenities including a dog park. This neighborhood has it's own greenbelt walking trail and community pools. Great schools! Great neighbors!"
