"There are a lot of schools and many are max capacity as they can’t seem to keep up with the growth of the area. Commutes out of town can take a long time, but they are near completion on many new roads and improvements for travel. Overall though you can’t find a more friendly city with MANY free activities and a wonderful sense of community."
  • Jennifer Jasmer
"Eagle Mountain is family friendly with great schools and public areas. Wish it was more farmland overall."
  • Sam Collett
"Nice quiet place to raise a family but far from a lot of things. It’s growing so there will be a lot out here eventually."
  • Christy D.
"It's not to bad, now that the freeway in Lehi has been completed it makes it much easier to get to salt lake. I'm not sure how the commute will be in the winter because we are new out here."
  • Melissa M.
"Halloween & 4th of July ate amazing here! Plus, there are multiple community events each year. Eagle mountain is a great place to live& raise a family. "
  • Hobbsaj
"LDS is the majority but most are not church going. Kids of all ages are here and most are nice. Adults are nice but very stuck in their world. "
  • Stephen.madsen21
"Pony express rodeo, demolition derby, motocross races, farmers market on Saturday, Christmas festival in December with tons of food trucks and animals."

"Great schools and sense of community here. Lots of great parks, programs, trails and open space for families."
  • Rainingcouponsmailbox
"Great place to raise children! Friendly and safe community! It is peaceful and a little piece of farming community, but not too far away from the city."
  • Melissamcfadden33
"It is awful! There is so much growth, but not enough roads. Traffic is horrible on morning& evening commute. There had been some road improvements, but still takes me over an hour to get to work."
  • Lori A.
"trunk or treat, lots of community park events. nickel fair, Easter egg hunts. if you need anything neighbors will pitch in and help, we are all a big family out here."

In winter, we even see quite a few deer in our yards. "
