2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student, I see that this is an.. Okay school. The teachers are teaching us stuff but that's really it. The kids are insane to say the least and bullying is a huge problem as well as the racism and homophobia. And the slurs. lots of slurs are said and the teachers do nothing. I really do like my teachers because they are super nice but that's really the only thing that's good about it. Well, then there is also the band. Band is fun. But yeah, really disrespectful students who get into fights *basically* daily.Student Review11mo ago - Vandever Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school from PreK to 5th. My kids both went to school here and the teachers and Principle Mrs Beckwith are wonderful If your child needs additional help with Speach, reading or math, they are so helpful. Love this school and so do my kids who are now in 7th and 11th grades.Parent Review11y ago - Broken Arrow Freshman Academy

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMe:I graduated in 2019, and I'm currently at an out-of-state university. My BAHS experience may differ from others. I took 9 AP classes and was on the soccer team during my time there. Teachers:I'd say most of my teachers were caring and effective. I learned from most of them. However, I have to say the AP science teachers I had were inadequate (Chemistry and Physics C: Mechanics). The teachers just did not know enough of the subject to be able to teach it. I'm glad to see that those AP science teachers do not teach at BAHS anymore. It's nice that Broken Arrow has opened the Vanguard Academy, which is a facility for STEM. I'm not sure how the majority of on-level teachers were. The ones I had were alright. High School:The high school is BIG. 3500+ students across 3 grades is a lot of people. My graduating class consisted of 1147 students. The building and facilities were able to hold that many people and then some in my opinion. The campus is like the size of a small community college. With it being a big high school, there are plenty of extracurriculars and activities for students to engage in. Sports, band, orchestra, choir, clubs, you name it. Students:As with many high schools and life in general, there are cliques. People tend to surround themselves with people like themselves. You got the popular kids, rebels, nerds, etc. Some people even group themselves with the same race. Not everyone does this, but it's a trend. Despite this, I'd argue the school is still quite diverse. With the diversity at the school due to a large student body, any student will likely fit in. You'll probably find students like yourself. I experienced some bullying, but I was able to deal with it and block it out.Other Review2y ago - Aspen Creek Ec Center
