6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does nothing to support the students. The front office staff is completely inept and seems absolutely clueless. My teachers are all nice but i think they have too many people to manage because if you get behind that’s pretty much wraps for you. You get no help even if you talk to the teachers, it just never really feels like you’re on the same page or if u ever really receive proper credit for the time you put in. I really regret switching to Fletcher as much as i wanted it to work. Please go to a different school because this school will absolutely derail and destroy your academic career and experience.Student Review5mo ago - Sandalwood High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI user to love this school for my 1st granddaughter in kindergarten. Fast forward 2023-2024 and she's moved back for 4th grade and she's struggling with not only the curriculum but also the mass of papers they have to keep up with in their folders. They switch classes, have to share desks, classrooms are overcrowded and teachers did not care one bit about getting to know the parents at orientation or other time we've been there. I'm so sad for my granddaughter who was not struggling at her old school. There seems to be no individual attention to those struggling and communication is terrible. The teachers seem to care more about having a good time at work with the kids that can keep up and care less about actually teaching beyond worksheets and homework. Kids are made to feel bad not motivated. I'm so disappointed. If your kid is in kindergarten then they will likely enjoy their time there eating noodles and pizza and pancakes, cookies, candy in class....yup...BUT if your child is older, and they are switching classes like middle schoolers and feeling overwhelmed :( and they need help...they are not going to get it here. Fail. In fact. I'm going to contact the higher ups. They are failing our kids not the other way around.Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 14001 Beach Blvd #MVGF45.

"Nice neighborhoods and friendly people. Generally houses and yards are kept up and nice looking. The area is not walkable but is dog friendly and family friendly. There is frequent vandalism and car break ins. Our neighborhood had 10-20 cars broken into the other night. "

"This area is close to a few bigger stores and has a small community feeling . The biggest down fall is I can hear my neighbors on the phone with all the windows and doors closed in my house. I do not blame them for being loud or unruly but more so for the quality of the houses that was built in this area. Also there are small parties on weekends that last longer than normal and thanks to the amazing road that’s close by I can hear Street racing and sometimes gunfire "
- Coluccikrystal

"Close to schools and restaurants as well as easy access to shopping within biking or walking distance, and 5 min from beaches. "

"I love this area. It's central to just about everything in Jacksonville with a quick commute to both downtown and the beaches. There are a lot of families within the community and great schools."

"I used to live in Covenant Cove and I must say it was my favorite place to live in Jacksonville. I felt like I was close to everything from downtown to St Johns town center in addition to being only 10 minutes away from the beach. There is a super target, a couple grocery stores and several restaurants and bars that are in a walking distance. It is also a plus to be only 5 minutes away from Mayo Clinic and 15 min from UNF. I am a single woman and I never felt awkward walking out at night by myself in the neighborhood. Very safe and clean and my neighbors were very friendly."
