4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a current Junior at Grissom High School and I can definitely tell you without bias that it is the best high school in the area. In spite of multiple reviews, so long as you try to learn teachers will do everything in their power to put you on the right path. As a student who’s taken all sorts of classes (honors, AP’s, and one regular) I can ensure that the education provided at any level is extraordinary. There are clubs and extracurriculars for everyone and students are bound to be able to find a sense of belonging somewhere. Overall, Grissom is a great school. It has its flaws, but it honestly just makes it more human- nothing can be perfect. If you or your child are going here- they’re in good hands!Student Review2mo ago - Mcdonnell Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school for most of my elementary years, I am now a ninth grader at Butler High, this elementary school is a amazing school, all the teachers really care about the children in the classes. They strive to make a difference in each student. I was a straight A student, because each of the teachers decided they want all of the students to do well, they taught in different ways, explained in many ways, and had different teachers try different ways of teaching you something that you don't understand. They try their best to teach every student, and help out with anything they can.Other Review10y ago - Whitesburg P-8 School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family loves Whitesburg Middle School! The teachers and staff are helpful, friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and skilled at instructing kids of all learning levels. My kids have received hand-on, tailored instruction that meets their reading, math, science, and social studies level, allowing them to excel in their academics. The PTA is active and growing, providing fun activities and opportunities for parents to engage, along with support for teachers and staff. The school offers all kinds of athletics, choir, band, and even options for theater performances, allowing students to engage in a wide variety of extracurricular activities! I can't recommend it enough!Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 3205 Southfield Ln SW #Z7JZBN.

"Very nice neighborhood. Neighbors are all very friendly & helpful to one another. Residents walk their dogs & take them to dog parks. Good place to relax & get to know new neighbors. If anyone needs help cutting their grass or doing anything all they have to do is ask. Community is always clean & safe. I would recommend this neighborhood to everyone. When dogs or cats go missing it's on neighborhood watch to help find them. "

"We've lived in HSV Hills for many years and love the friendly neighbors! We've lived in Pill Hill & Piedmont; HSV Hills has the privacy and retreat of those neighborhoods, without the steep hills/long drives to everything. Very safe, well-established, primely located community near Hampton Cove, affords the best of both worlds: peaceful hillside privacy & proximity to everything. Near premier schools, The Arsenal, library/community center, churches, greenways, golf, shopping & restaurants galore. "
