2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is depends on what you do, there are a lot of drugs and smoking in the bathrooms so if you would like to avoid that there are better highschools to apply to. The fights have calmed down this years and there are barely any, the problem is this principal refuses to be as strict as out past principal and has entirely removed hall sweep which punished students who would skip. The security is good at making sure students do not wander for to long atleast, the teachers are not that bad especially if you are in Honors or AP. They will really push you to help with your skills so I would recommend going for those classes and it just overall looks better, there are good clubs to join and many opportunities for leadership roles if you work hard enough. If you do music the programs they have are fun like marching band or jazz band, the director is a little strict but it's fun and also looks good if you ever apply to college. On the topic of college there is a elective you could try applying for which is AVID which helps getting you prepared for college and what universities you want to apply for! You need to be in 1 honors classes unfortunately but if you are in one then I would recommend applying! If you're interested in college that is. So overall this school isn't the worse, just do not start problems and focus on your academics really and if you're planning for college do take the opportunities to join clubs, sports, or even higher classes! A good club is Key club to get volunteer hours. GO ZEBRAS!Student Review1mo ago5 Reviews - Woodrow Wilson Elementary School

"Commute is okay, route 1 isn’t the best like many major highways during the morning commute/rush hour but it only takes me 30-40 minutes to get to and from work. There’s also lots of public transportation options as needed. Many bus stops and the train station is right downtown "

"Be very careful on where you find your home for your children, the atmosphere, busy areas, etc. There’s beautiful parts of New Brunswick and very urban areas of New Brunswick so whichever tickles your fancy the most, go for it but be mindful of that. "

"The mayor has been in office for many years and shootings and killings are consistently happening in New Brunswick and nothing is done about it. I would advise you not to move to New Brunswick. It’s not a safe place to raise your children. "

"depends on if your dog is ok with neighbors living in the apartment next to you. the dog in the apartment next to mine barks at me whenever I enter or leave the apartment and it's getting on my (and likely the owners) last nerve"
