The teachers and staff are dedicated, supportive, and genuinely care about the success and well-being of every student. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel welcomed and part of a positive, nurturing environment.The academic programs are engaging and challenging, preparing students for success in high school and beyond. There are so many opportunities for students to get involved through athletics, clubs, fine arts, and leadership programs. The school culture promotes respect, responsibility, and kindness, and it shows in the way students treat each other.The new administration is responsive, involved, and always looking for ways to improve the school experience for both students and families. Communication with parents is excellent. Every issue my child had was quickly addressed and resolved. It is no longer the "D.R. I felt engaged, as a parent. It was not the worst way to spend one year, but kids deserve better. The bathrooms reeked of teen sweat and despair. Additionally, the guidance counselors left much to be desired, as they gave poor advice, which cost both of my children a semester.
